Become a Volunteer
In a democracy the solution’s to society’s problems can never be fully solved by government or the free market. It will take the personal engagement of individual citizens, just as America’s founders originally intended.
If every American over the age of 10 began volunteering just three hours a week – one weekday evening, one morning or afternoon over the weekend – there would be three powerful effects. First, it would reduce all sorts of urgent problems. Second, it would make an economic impact equal to the creation of 19 million nonprofit jobs. Third, it would enrich the lives of those volunteers, by giving their days greater purpose and make their life part of a larger mission.
The B1 Campaign is a tool to connect people with the needs that exist. So go ahead – if you admire authentic patriots, be one.
